It is with great sadness that we must report the untimely death of Graham Nearn. Graham, the founder of Caterham Cars, took over production of the Lotus 7 when Colin Chapman of Lotus decided to cease production in 1973. Graham made the very brave and visionary decision to revert to the Series III from the, then, current Series IV. If it wasn't for Grahams vision, bravery and persistance we would not today be enjoying our Caterham 7s.
